Bio page - the background for the text is not-quite-white to coordinate with the painting, and just transparent enough to hint at the painting beneath

Exhibits page - sample of what a longer page would do. We'd repeat the painting if the page is longer than it, but it can be done without an obvious seam.

one of the image galleries - background would not be translucent like the other pages. Opaque would allow the gallery images to show better.
